I never cease to be amazed at the YouTube phenomenon!
When I was growing up, I could watch 3 channels on television – 4 if the ‘rabbit ear’ antennae cooperated. Now not only can we watch 100’s of channels on cable, there’s a seemingly endless supply of entertaining videos available on YouTube.
Take this talented young man for example, and his Disney montage done in ‘Brady Bunch’ fashion! A fitting tribute to commemorate the birthday of Mickey Mouse:
This video has been seen almost 5 million times!! And why not? Clearly he’s a talented guy… who can bring his talent to life without a television contract, agent or studio. And his YouTube channel has over 86 million views!
Think about it – that’s 86,000,000 video views. YouTube makes money on these views too! How? When we click the ‘Featured Videos’ or ‘Promoted Videos’, someone’s paying YouTube to promote their videos.

As for me? I’m happy with the 27,000 video views on my West Palm Beach Real Estate YouTube video channel. While I may not make money from millions of views, I’m definitely getting a lot of mileage from the 250 videos on my Channel! We’re showing our properties online, sharing video testimonials and video blogging about our local market. And that’s very rewarding at my real estate firm!
