So you’ve received your iPhone 4/4s Property Management Video System and aren’t sure how to assemble all the pieces. The following video will step you through the process of putting the system together. I suggest you work along with the video assembling the kit.
NOTE: Don’t put your iphone in the case until the system is together.
iPhone Property Management Video System Assembly Steps
- STEP 1: Attach the smaller lens to the custom iphone case.
- STEP 2: Attach the larger video lens on top of the smaller one.
- STEP 3: Attach the handle bracket to the iphone case.
- STEP 4: Attach the monopod to the bottom. It adds weight which helps with stabilization. It also offers a second way to to hold the camera system.
- STEP 5: Light kit. Insert the batteries, and twist it into the top of the bracket. Make sure it is securely attached.
- STEP 6: Microphone. Double check the battery that was shipped with the microphone is working. Since there is no light on the mic, you want to test it to make sure it is working. For our purposes, it should be set to the Normal setting. Attach the adapter cable. Without the adapter cable, you aren’t going to get any audio.
- STEP 7: Insert the iphone into the case.
- STEP 8: Plug the mic into the headset jack.
iPhone Settings
Turn on the iphone and go into settings (the gear icon).
Airplane mode must be set to ON. Now your phone will operate just as a camera so your film isn’t interrupted with phone calls or texts.
Go into your camera app and turn it to video mode.
Hit record to start filming. Don’t like the lighting? Tap on the screen and the iphone will optimize the lighting for that area. Tapping on darker areas lights up the room.
Point the microphone towards your mouth so it will pick up your voice well.
Once you are finished filming, make sure you turn your phone back to Airplane Mode OFF.
